Founding Member’s Sharpshooting Event

October 9, 2014

Among one of the most exclusive fundraising events of the season, members of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Foundation (HCSOF), founding board recently hosted select invited guests and members of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office to a private three stage marksmanship competition at the Athena Gun Club to raise funds in support of the HCSOF.

This private competition included categories for handgun precision, rifle marksmanship and virtual simulator proficiency and also provided an opportunity for the guests to demonstrate their sharpshooting skills with the use of the Club’s extensive handgun, rifle, and assault-style weapons collection!

Raising in excess of $50,000, the event “hit the mark” in support of raising funds to support on-going HCSOF initiatives to assist and support the men and women of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in carrying out its law enforcement mandates in the safest and most efficient manner.

Team Award recipients included: Teams Bisso, Caroom and Womble. The individual highest score was awarded to Todd Womble.

On behalf of the HCSOF, thank you to each of our team sponsors, individual and in-kind donors who provided support for this competitive event!
