The foundation recognizes the importance of our “collectively shared responsibility” for the continued stewardship of a “relationship of trust” between “both” our community stakeholders and our law enforcement professionals in the preservation of the rule of law, justice, and order.

The collection of portraits was first publicly unveiled and dedicated at on November 3, 2021, at the Ballroom at Bayou Place during an event announcing the 2021 Harris County Sheriff’s Office Foundation’s HCSO Deputy of the Year award recipient Deputy Investigator Jack Ferrell, HCSO Homicide Unit.
